Welcome to SummerHouse Candles! I’m so glad you are here! 
Our name is derived from my love of warm summer days filled with sunshine and the cozy feel of a well-loved, beach cottage or lake house. 

A little about your candle maker: Following years of working in the stressful healthcare field I decided to take up a hobby to enrich the creative side of my brain and personality. I’ve always loved candles, especially how the scent of certain candles can instantly lift the mood and destress. After lots of testing and honing the craft I'm so pleased with the quality of our candles and I think you will be too! 

How the company started: Our company started after I gave a few candles and soaps away as gifts and quickly received requests for more. Eventually, I began selling them in antique stores and craft shows and customers began asking if we had a web site. So here we are!

I believe it is important for our homes to feel like a haven from the stresses of everyday life. 
Our products are made with the idea of helping to make your home feel cozier, comforting – even spa-like and indulgent.  Every candle is hand made with love by me for you.
