The Beginning of Noya Bazaar

One day at a family get-together the conversation turned to grocery shopping. Everyone had the same observation and the same complaint: how far we had to travel to buy desi products. After talking to our friends, and other community members, we finally decided there was only one solution: to open a supermarket ourselves!

 

NOYA BAZAAR translated, “New Market” began in 2005. After finding a suitable warehouse, we spent the next year entirely renovating the space, adding everything necessary and desirable for a pleasant shopping experience. We celebrated our grand opening on December 2, 2005.
