About Us
It all began with a question:
how many ocean cleaning organizations are helping rid our oceans of plastic? The answer: not enough.
Our planet needs all the help it can get.
In August 2019, we created our nonprofit organization, Ocean Sweep, who’s goal is to work on cleaning the ocean’s major garbage patches.

Jerzy Dusza
Founder, Executive Director
Jerzy Dusza is a 53-year-old immigrant from Europe who, in search of work at 26 years old, moved to the United States and lives in New Jersey to this day. He is also the owner of two construction companies, one of which is also involved in protecting the environment.
